History of the Ferrari 355 Sports Car
The Ferrari F355 sports car was built by Ferrari as an evolution of the Ferrari 348 during 1994 to 1999. It is a mid-engine, rear wheel drive, V8-powered two-seat convertible which focussed on improved performance in addition to drivability across a larger range of speeds and in different driving environments.
By introducing a 5-valve cylinder head Ferrari created an engine that was much more powerful, producing 380 PS (279 kW; 375 hp). The frame is constructed with steel monocoque with tubular steel rear sub-frame and front and rear suspension with an option between two damper settings, "Comfort" and "Sport".
The car's standard seats were upholstered with hides from Connolly Leather, and fitted asymmetrically in the car; which resulted in the driver being slightly closer to the car's center line compared to the passenger.
